Ah, silver. We are all familiar with it as the most common currency in Albion Online. Need to repair gear? Silver. Need to buy some stuff off the marketplace? Silver. But how the heck do you earn silver? Well, I’m going to show you the 6 best ways to make silver on Albion.
Number 1 – Gathering and refining
First on the list is gathering. While it is a somewhat debatable subject, from my perspective and experience, I find that this is one of the best ways to make silver on Albion. If you dedicate yourself to gathering, then you are bound to become rich. Explore the market’s needs and work according to those needs.
If gathering and selling resources isn’t enough, then find the best raw materials to refine and resell. Check out different markets to see which offer a better deal for the materials you are looking to sell.
Number 2 – Following the trader’s path
The trader path is all about relocating items from one market to another. As I’ve mentioned in other articles, all the banks and auction houses are local, meaning what exists in one market might not exist in another.
The game’s in-game economy is completely player-driven, so certain items might have an inflated price. But this can be a good thing if you use it to your advantage. Take a walk through different cities and check the prices on items. Try to find valuable resources you know are inflated at a specific market for a lower price. Once you buy those items, return to the first market and resell the items at a slightly lower price than the rest of the market. That’s it, easy silver!
Note, that this method takes a lot of market research. You can’t just buy random items, you need to find items that are in high demand and have inflated prices.
Number 3 – Farming
You were probably expecting this part, so here it is. Farming is without a doubt, the best way to make a steady income of silver in Albion.
All you have to do is plant what sells and nurture the most sought-out animals and mounts. And if you’re smart, you’ll learn how to use your Focus Points on farming to get an advantage.
Number 4 – PvP
PvP is a great way of making money. Sure, it is not something that everyone can do – or at least do successfully – but with the right skills and team, it can mean some real coin.
To make sure you make the most of PvP, you must first decide whether you are going in as a group or as a solo player. Both have their own advantages. PvPing as a group is safer, as your odds of winning improve and you won’t be such an easy target to gank. Going solo means all the rewards are for you, no need to share. Once you’ve got that down, you just need to set out to a good PvP location and pick your targets.
Number 5 – Dungeons
Dungeons are a tricky point to discuss. The process is quite easy: you go in, kill a bunch of mobs and then collect the loot from their bodies. There are countless dungeons throughout the entire Albion world and you can either venture into a neighboring dungeon or a more hardcore one. Heck, you can even get your own special dungeon.
Nothing tricky about that, right? Well, that’s because the tricky part lies in the fact that dungeons don’t give out a lot of silver. You’ll get it much faster than most other methods, but the amount will be smaller. Then again, you won’t just be getting silver, you will also be rewarded with some Fame, so for me this is a win-win situation.
Number 6 – Convert your gold
I consider this the “cheat” methods. Whenever you are in dire need of silver, then the absolute fastest and easiest way to do it is by converting gold into silver, through the gold market.
Making silver in Albion can sometimes be a challenge, but with these tips, you are bound to make some real coin. Get out there and have fun!
