Destiny 2

BrayTech Werewolf review and best perks | Destiny 2

The right weapon can transform you. This isn't it, though.

The BrayTech Werewolf has returned to Destiny 2 with better perk options and an updated power cap. While it may not be the best, it has a unique model that definitely glows. Here are the perks you should be looking for on the BrayTech Werewolf in Destiny 2.

Perks and rolls

The BrayTech Werewolf is another 450 RPM auto rifle that falls in the Kinetic Slot. When looking at barrel perks, make sure to utilize things that buff range and handling. Arrowhead Brake, Corkscrew Rifling and Fluted Barrel are the best options for maximizing range and handling. In terms of magazine perks, look for High-Caliber Rounds, Light Mag or Flared Magwell.

BrayTech Werewolf’s perk selection is a little bit lackluster. Nothing drastically makes it stand out from other 450 auto rifles, like the Seventh Seraph Carbine or Uriel’s Gift. In the first column, you have no option for a reload perk. Fourth Time’s The Charm is your best choice, but that only returns 2 ammo for every four precision shots. Swashbuckler is a available in the second column, but without a solid reload perk you need to rely on the base reload speed with magazine perks.

450 RPM auto rifles are in a weird spot in Destiny 2. They are not the worst weapon choice, but there are plenty of better choices. Due to that, BrayTech Werewolf doesn’t see as much use. Besides getting one for collections, I don’t see much reason to run this in PvE or PvP activities. Mine will be sitting in the Vault for the time being.
