Trinary System is a new Gambit weapon in Destiny 2. It is an Adaptive Frame fusion rifle, with a balance of range and charge time. Here are the best perks you should look for on Trinary System.
Perks and rolls
Some of the best barrel perks on Trinary System are Fluted Barrel, Corkscrew Rifling and Smallbore. These all increase stability, which tightens the spread between bolts. This can make it easier to hit targets. Always look for Liquid Coils to increase impact. Avoid Accelerated Coils – although this perks decreases charge time, it also lowers the damage per bolt.
In the first column you have a few different reload perk options. Auto-Loading Holster and Surplus pair well with most perks, while Feeding Frenzy is great when paired specifically with kill-based perks. Killing Wind may be the best perk in the slot, increasing range, handling and mobility after a kill.
There are a ton of damage perks available on Trinary System. Some of these include Kill Clip, One for All, and Swashbuckler. They can all be strong when combined with the right perks. If ability regeneration is more your thing, look for Demolitionist or Wellspring.
Combos
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Trinary System in Destiny 2:
- Killing Wind + Swashbuckler – This combo is great for running and gunning. Killing Wind increases your optimal range, and Swashbuckler gives you a solid damage buff.
- Under Pressure + High-Impact Reserves – These perks work well together. Both benefit from being at a lower mag size, which is common in PvP.
Verdict
Trinary System is one of the best feeling fusion rifles in the current Destiny 2 loot pool. It can be great as a secondary weapon in modes like Gambit and Strikes. The only downside is that it has a large perk pool and limited drops. Trinary System only drops from Gambit and its related content.
