Die by the Blade
Release date: TBA
Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Windows
Die by the Blade is a sword-fighting game taking its inspiration from games like Bushido Blade, Way of the Samurai, and Dark Souls. So yeah, you may die (by the blade) quite often in this one.
In Die by the Blade, there is no room for random button smashing. A single hit can kill you, and the gameplay revolves around parries and counters. The characters are cyberpunk samurai, each with their own story. You can customize your own character if you feel like it. In any case, the fighting style does not depend on the character you select, but on the weapon you chose. And a direct hit to vital areas always results in instant death, making Die by the Blade one of the more skill-dependent fighting games to look forward to in 2022.
Dungeon & Fighter Duel
Release date: TBA

Dungeon & Fighter Duel is a 2.5D fighting game set in the universe of Dungeon & Fighter, a multiplayer beat ’em up action role-playing game initially released in 2005. DNF Duel features heroes from the original game fighting one-on-one.
The original Dungeon & Fighter game, also known as Dungeon Fighter Online, was a real hit with 700 million players worldwide and over $15 billion in lifetime revenue. As a spin-off to this popular title, Dungeon & Fighter Duel should benefit from this success and have a decent roster of heroes at launch.
If you are curious about Dungeon & Fighter Duel, the game will be in open beta on PlayStation consoles from Dec. 18 to Dec. 20.
