Dig deeper in Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder

Virtual Reality gamers are in for a treat with Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder having just launched on both Steam and Meta Quest as of Sept. 8, 2022.

Indie studio VRKiwi’s sequel to the aptly named Cave Digger – Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder is set in an alternative western frontier, where discoveries, dangers, and digging await the Prospector. Cave Digger 2 sees prospective players delving into expansive and dangerous new cave systems in order to harvest the sweet loot within. Dig, blast and mine your way through caves, finding more and more riches as you go. Along the way, players will trade said riches and valuables for new tools, upgrades, and new locales for even more loot. More riches means more loot, which means you can dig deeper than any adventurer that came before you.

Over the course of your adventures, you’ll follow in the footsteps of a treasure hunter named Clayton. Reading through comic books, you’ll start to unlock the mysteries of the frontier as you go deeper and deeper. From old mines to the ruins of an ancient civilization, you may just be surprised by what secrets you dig up. With multiple narratives and many hidden endings, you may find yourself wandering these caves longer than you thought.  At least you won’t be going at it alone though…

This time around, you’ll be able to explore these ever-shifting caves with up to four other players! Now, you and your friends can enter these hazardous caves together – making it a true bonding experience. You may encounter a few dangers along the way as well so It’s best to keep yourselves armed and protected while exploring. At least you can customize yourselves and delve in style though, right?

Cave Digger 2: DIg Harder is out now on Steam, Meta Quest, and even PSVR so get out there and get to digging – and be sure to stick around with SQUAD for more VR news and content!
