The 7 best Copy Abilities in Kirby and the Forgotten Land

Kirby and the Forgotten Land brings a whole lot of new adventures for the pink gluttonous hero. Just like in the previous games, Kirby can swallow his enemies to copy their abilities. In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, 10 of these abilities return from previous games, while two of them are entirely new. Each Copy Ability also has blueprints to upgrade it, bringing the total number of copy abilities in this new game to 35. But which ones are the best? Here are the seven best Copy Abilities in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

7. Crystal Needle

The Crystal Needle is the second evolution of the Needle ability. Kirby turns into a ball of crystals, damaging anyone he touches and leaving spiky crystals in his wake. This ability, on top of being pretty fun to play, can deal damage to a lot of different enemies. The Crystal Needle is especially good when you face several groups of small enemies. Just roll ahead and kill everyone!

6. Blizzard Ice

Blizzard Ice gives Kirby a beautiful tiara of ice. This Copy Ability allows Kirby to throw icicles at his enemies and turn them into ice blocks from a distance. It also lets him skate over lava or mud, which is really useful for moving around the stages.

5. Meta Knight Sword

The Meta Knight Sword ability lets you copy the powers of Meta Knight, one of Kirby’s most iconic enemies. With the Meta Knight Sword Copy Ability, Kirby can wield Galaxia, a powerful sword that deals massive damage. He can also release purple crescent beams at his enemies, killing them from afar.

4. Masked Hammer

The Masked Hammer allows Kirby to wield two hammers at the same time. Not only can he smash his opponents with both hands, but this Copy Ability also makes Kirby spin around and hit enemies in a large area. The Masked Hammer deals a lot of damage while being extremely mobile, making it a real threat in close-ranged combat.

3. Space Ranger

Ranger is a Copy Ability that was introduced with Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The default version of this ability gives Kirby a gun to fire at his enemies, but the second evolution of this Copy Ability is where it really shines. The Space Ranger turns Kirby into an astronaut, with a pistol that shoots laser beams at enemies and generates electric fields. This copy ability has higher firepower than any other Ranger ability and is useful in long-range combat.

2. Dragon Fire

A Copy Ability that turns Kirby into an actual dragon couldn’t miss this list! The Dragon Fire grants Kirby more mobility, as it gives dragon wings to our pink hero. Kirby can also breathe fire on his enemies at a decent range, leaving trails of flame on the ground.

1. Morpho Knight Sword

The Morpho Knight Sword is the best Copy Ability in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Not only does it give Kirby the coolest sword in the series, but it is also one of the most powerful weapons in the entire game. Kirby can slash through all his enemies, spin like a deadly tornado, and end with a powerful smash that drains his opponents’ life.
