A big part of Genshin Impact is cooking tasty-looking food. Food is used to restore health, buff stats, and even revive teammates. These recipes are scattered across the map and can be quest rewards. Below is our list of the best foods you can make in Genshin Impact.
Note, that this list does not contain any of the character specialty dishes. These are therefore the best foods that can be crafted in Genshin Impact regardless of character selection. Also remember that only 3 food buffs can be activated at one time, and that similar food buffs do not stack.
Adeptus’ Temptation
Rarity: ★★★★★
Stats: Increases the party’s attack by 260/316/372 and critical rate 8/10/12% for 300 seconds.
Recipe: 4 Ham, 3 Crab, 3 Shrimp Meat, 3 Matsutake
Currently, the Adeptus’ Temptation is the only 5 star food dish in Genshin Impact. It is also one of the few dishes to increase the party’s attack and critical rate. The drawback of this dish is that it has a relatively high resource cost.

Crab, Ham & Veggie Bake
Rarity: ★★★
Stats: Revives the selected character. Also restores 900/1,200/1,500 HP to the character.
Recipe: 1 Crab Roe, 1 Ham, 1 Cream, 1 Cabbage
The Crab, Ham & Veggie Bake is one of the best revive items in the game due to its high HP restoration capabilities. It comes at relatively low resource cost, but you do need to consistently farm for crabs.
Flaming Red Bolognese
Rarity: ★★
Stats: Restores 18/20/22% of Max HP and regenerates 300/390/470 HP every 5 seconds for 30 seconds.
Recipe: 2 Flour, 2 Raw Meat, 1 Tomato
Flaming Red Bolognese is a great food item that provides continuous healing over time. Its relatively low resource cost makes it a great food to have on hand.
Jade Parcels
Rarity: ★★★★
Stats: Increases the party’s attack by 224/272/320 and critical rate by 6/8/10% for 300 seconds.
Recipe: 3 Lotus Head, 2 Jueyun Chili, 2 Cabbage, 1 Ham
Jade Parcels are one of the few food items in the game that buff Critical Rate and Attack. However, they require Jueyen Chilis which are an Ascension material on Xiangling. These chilis only spawn at a set amount per week. This makes Jade Parcels a difficult dish to keep stocked up on.

Mondstadt Hash Brown
Rarity: ★★★
Stats: Restores 30/32/34% of Max HP and grants an additional 600/1,250/1,900 HP to the selected character
Recipe: 2 Pinecones, 1 Potato, 1 Jam
The Mondstadt Hash Brown is one of the best healing foods in Genshin Impact. It gives a solid percentile heal along with a great additional heal. The downfall of this dish is the Jam requirement, which takes 10 minutes to craft.
Mushroom Pizza
Rarity: ★★★
Stats: Restores 26/28/30 % Max HP and regenerates 450/620/790 HP every 5 seconds for 30 seconds.
Recipe: 4 Mushroom, 3 Flour, 2 Cabbage, 1 Cheese
Mushroom Pizza, like the Flaming Red Bolognese, is a solid healing-over-time food with a Max HP heal. The recipe is obtained from a chest in Stormterror’s Lair.
Pile ‘Em Up
Rarity: ★★★
Stats: Increases the party’s critical rate by 10/15/20% for 300 seconds.
Recipe: 3 Raw Meat, 3 Potato, 1 Small Lamp Grass, 1 Cheese
Pile ‘Em up is one of the best consumables for increasing critical rate. While it is strong, you cannot obtain the recipe until you reach Adventure Rank 40. Additionally, Small Lamp Grass is also used to Ascend Fischl, and it has a weekly farm limit.
Teyvat Fried Egg
Rarity: ★
Stats: Revives the character and restores 50/100/150 HP.
Recipe: 1 Bird Egg
The Teyvat Fried Egg is a great revive item that you get fairly early on in the game. Along with getting it early on, it only takes eggs to craft, which are fairly easy to come by. You can find them in nests on top of buildings and in trees.
