Gift ideas for Nintendo Switch players | Gift Guide

It’s that time of year again. Here’s some great Nintendo Switch gift ideas you can give to current – or future – Switch users this year. Here’s our Nintendo Switch gift guide to make your gift shopping this year a little bit easier.

Nintendo Switch

When it comes to Nintendo Switch gift ideas, the console itself is a pretty good one. You can choose between the original Switch – with TV and handheld modes – or the Switch Lite which is purely handheld.

I should mention that the Animal Crossing edition of the Switch is back in stock at the time of writing. 😉

Switch accessories

An important part of the Switch is that it’s portable – but that doesn’t mean you should just carry it bare. Grab a carrying case for convenience and safety when traveling with your new $300+ investment!

Bluetooth adapters allow you a bit more privacy and immersion – especially when gaming on the go. They’re pretty simple to pair, and allow you to use any Bluetooth audio device – be it earphones, headphones or speakers.

Screen protectors are great ways to keep your Switch safe from any scratches or cracks that can incur through use. You can get either a plastic one for just scratches, or a tempered glass one to protect against drops as well.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Having a Switch is all well and good, but you’ll need some games for it too. There are too many options for me to list them here, but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a great option for fans of exploration and sprawling open worlds.

A Dualsense controller

Yeah, you’re reading that right. The PlayStation 5’s new Dualsense controllers will actually work with a Nintendo Switch via a third-party adapter. So hey, if you like the PlayStation style (or have a PS5 and want a spare controller) why not grab a Dualsense controller for multi-platform play?

Thanks for stopping by for our Nintendo Switch gift guide! We made a ton of other gaming gift guides this year, so be sure to check them out in you’re in need of ideas for the gamer in your life.
