3 competitive SWGOH 3v3 GAC teams for The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian era of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is out in full force with key characters making their holotable debuts. Despite the new characters having strong kits, none of the new SWGOH characters have the star power that The Mandalorian brings. Mando can disintegrate when his reward triggers, and his Bounty Hunter leadership ability lets his squad pack a serious punch.

Now that The Mandalorian has been farmable on SWGOH for a while now, let’s take a look at 3 quality Mando Grand Arena Championships 3v3 teams to get you some easy banners.

The Beskar Squad – Jango Fett (L), Boba Fett, The Mandalorian

Beskar armor is fully represented in this 3v3 GAC team. Jango Fett takes the lead with his easy contract, +30 speed, and sapping enemies for -20% potency and -40% tenacity if they inflict debuffs on any Bounty Hunter ally.

This team hits hard and hits often. Both Jango Fett and Boba Fett basic abilities hit twice, and can inflict debuffs with their AOE attacks. The Mandalorian can call allies to assist with his Transpierce attack. This should call for a quick contract payout and reward. Once that hits, zap the beefy enemy with The Mandalorian’s Disintegrate ability.

This is an awesome 3v3 offensive squad. There’s a chance they won’t make it to contract payouts and reward because they hit like a truck. Jango Fett and Boba Fett can ignore taunts and take out some squishy enemies easily if geared, modded, and having a high Relic level. They easily counter most squads that aren’t reliant on cleanses or Tenacity Up abilities.

Avoid squads like: Padme lead, Shaak-Ti, General Skywalker, or any Galactic Legend team.

The Mandalorian is viable even at low gear levels. Great relic candidate though!

Defense Bounty Hunter – Bossk (l), Greef Karga, The Mandalorian

It’s not very likely that you will find a frontline Bounty Hunter defensive team in SWGOH GAC 5v5 or 3v3. While it’s not the strongest endorsement, they make for great backline defensive teams that could possibly sneak a hold. Some GAC rounds are lost by a matter of a few banners, which is why this team is reasonably valuable.

Bossk is the best Bounty Hunter to lead a defensive team. Bossk lead gives 100% defense at full health, and 50% max protection and 50% tenacity to all Bounty Hunters from the start. Bounty Hunters will also recover 5% health and protection if an enemy resists or suffers a debuff.

Dealing damage to the weakest enemy 10 times is also a simple and easy contract the AI can pull off in a defensive placement. Once they trigger the contract reward, all Bounty Hunters receive +50 speed for the rest of the battle. Reward means payout, payout means The Mandalorian Disintegrate.

This team isn’t difficult to counter, but the Bounty Hunters are a scary endless well of health and protection restoration. Bossk using his taunt and Greef using his cleanse and mass assist make a lethal duo. Bossk also has a mass assist, and The Mandolorian can call an ally to assist. This is a sneaky good backline team that your opponent could whiff on.

Clean up crew – Aurra Sing (L), The Mandalorian, Dengar

Sometimes a high relic enemy character is left standing holding a zone. There aren’t a lot of great clean up teams that could instakill, outside of Darth Nihilus, Imperial Probe Droid, Savage Opress, and The Mandalorian. Luckily for this squad, The Mandalorian is a part of it.

The key is Aurra Sing’s lead. She’s not very good for PvP, but her contract payout and reward is super easy to trigger. Once you trigger The Mandalorian’s payout, Disintegrate, Aurra Sing doesn’t even need to be geared up as long as your 3-stack can hit the enemy 10 times. Dengar and Aurra Sing can stun, and The Mandalorian can call assists. You would have to be biting off way more than you can chew to not clean up with this squad.

With season 2 of The Mandalorian currently at its midway mark, it wouldn’t be crazy to expect a couple more released characters in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes with more synergy alongside Mando. Kuill and IG-11 have strong potential to create a beefy defensive team, but they’re not yet farmable on nodes, so they’ll be omitted for now.

Until then, try using some of these The Mandalorian teams to grab or prevent some banners leading you to your next SWGOH GAC 3v3 win!
