Forensic Nightmare is the new Throne World SMG in Destiny 2. Firing at 600 RPM, it is a Precision Frame that deals Stasis damage. Here are the best perks you should look for on Forensic Nightmare in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
This SMG needs extra handling and range to help it out. For barrel perks look for Corkscrew Rifling or Arrowhead Brake. For magazine perks look for Ricochet Rounds, High-Caliber Rounds or Light Mag.
Perpetual Motion is a great perk choice and fits in with the SMG run and gun playstyle. The additional stability, handling, and reload will almost always be activated. Encore and Heating Up are great kill based perks. While Encore can help with range, it is reliant on getting precision final blows.
Kill Clip is easily the best damage perk available on this weapon. Your other options are Harmony and Swashbuckler, but these take more set-up to get going. Headstone is here as well, which is a key perk for those who want to run a Stasis build.

Is Forensic Nightmare any good?
Forensic Nightmare is a Stasis SMG, so in the current meta it is the only one of its kind. It has some great rolls for PvE and Headstone has some great synergy with Stasis builds. It doesn’t fair as well in PvP, and is outclassed by other 600 RPMs such as Shayura’s Wrath.
Forensic Nightmare drops from the Throne World and can also be crafted at the Enclave.
