Frost weapons are a strong choice for melee-focused builds in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Borea’s Breath is one of the options you get early on. Here is how to get Borea’s Breath in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
What does Borea’s Breath do?
Borea’s Breath deals Frost damage, which will slow and freeze enemies. Frozen enemies take three times damage from melee sources. It fires four projectiles at a time and consumes two ammo per shot.
This is a Feriore SMG, which means it is thrown on reload; in effect, it deals damage both when shot and on reload. Its special ability is that it creates ice spikes each time it bounces. The damage of these ice spikes scales with the amount of ammo left in the magazine on reload.
Where to find Borea’s Breath in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Borea’s Breath drops from the first boss you encounter in the game, Ribula. He can be found at the end of Snoring Valley. A respawn point can be found not too far away from him, which makes this a fairly quick farm for Save Quitting. You will have to clear some Skeleton enemies prior to fighting Ribula each time, though.
As skeleton, Ribula is weak to Frost damage. It is a fairly simple fight, as long as you stay at range and use the pillars to avoid his big AOE Lightning attack.
