Eternal Blazon was a scout introduced back in Season of the Chosen. Firing at 200 RPM, it is a Lightweight frame that increases your handling and movement speed. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Eternal Blazon in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
Instead of barrel perks, Eternal Blazon gets sight choices. Flash HS5 is the best choice because it highlights enemies when aiming down sights. Torch HS3 is a close second. For magazine perks look for High-Caliber Rounds, Ricochet Rounds, or Light Mag.
Rapid Hit is an amazing perk on scout rifles, as you will often be landing precision hits. The added stability and reload speed make Eternal Blazon more lethal. Overflow is another great perk to have large mag sizes, but this is contingent on picking up Special ammo. Full Auto Trigger and Killing Wind are worth picking up as well.
There are two great damage-boosting perks available on Eternal Blazon. One for All is great in activities in which you can commonly hit multiple enemies, while Kill Clip is better when you can reliably get kills. Rangefinder is great for boosting your range and has use in both PvE and PvP.
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Eternal Blazon in Destiny 2:
- Rapid Hit + Kill Clip – Best for PvE.
- Full Auto Trigger + One for All.
- Overflow + One for All – Best for high-end PvE, like GM Nightfalls.
Scout rifles are still in an awkward spot in the current Destiny 2 meta. They are usable but are definitely not the best choice for all activities. If you get a god-roll Eternal Blazon, I recommend throwing it in the Vault until scout rifles are buffed, or until Scout Rifle seasonal mods are back in rotation. Eternal Blazon drops from Strike activities and Vanguard rank ups.
