Extraordinary Rendition review and best perks | Destiny 2

Extraordinary Rendition is an Aggressive Frame SMG in Destiny 2. Aggresive Frame SMGs were introduced back in the Warmind expansion. This particular SMG fires at 750 RPM, dealing high damage at the cost of high recoil. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Extraordinary Rendition in Destiny 2.

Perks and rolls

For barrel perks, look for ones that boost handling and stability. Chambered Compensator and Arrowhead Break help with controlling recoil. For magazine perks, Accurized Rounds is the top dog. If you lack that, then look for perks that increase magazine size and reload speed.

In the first column, Outlaw is present for reload speed buffs. Overflow is also there, temporarily giving you a larger magazine size after picking up Heavy or Special ammo. You could also run Surplus, especially for builds that center around having abilities constantly up. Zen Moment is a great perk to counter the high recoil of Extraordinary Rendition.

Rampage and Multikill clip are both solid damage boosting perks in the second column. We also have a new perk present called Frenzy. Frenzy increases handling, reload and damage output for being in combat for an extended period of time. This perk is great for situations where you will fight waves of enemies and won’t be leaving combat for long periods of time.

Combos

Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Extraordinary Rendition in Destiny 2:

  • Overflow + Rampage – Overflow can give you some hefty magazine sizes when picking up Heavy or Special Ammo, allowing you to quickly stack Rampage and deal lots of damage.
  • Outlaw + Multikill Clip – Outlaw and Kill Clip have been a historic perk combo in Destiny, and Multikill Clip works to the same effect.
  • Subsistence + Frenzy – Frenzy wants you to stay in combat for as long as possible, and Subsistence eliminates the need to reload as long as you are getting kills.

Verdict

Extraordinary Rendition is worth farming for if you use SMGs or want a kinetic alternative to the Ikelos SMG. It’s a great feeling SMG that can do well against large groups of rank and file enemies in PvE. It is not the best for clearing tougher enemies, but can do a satisfactory job. When it comes to Crucible and PvP, Aggresive Frame SMGs have a better body shot TTK, so keep that in mind.
