Farewell best perks and review | Destiny 2

"A peace born from violence is no peace at all." — Lady Efrideet

Farewell is the newest Lightweight sidearm in Destiny 2. Due to its frame type, it has superb handling and increases your movement speed. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Farewell.

Perks and rolls

Range and recoil are your most important stats to focus on. For barrel perks look for Arrowhead Brake, Corkscrew Rifling, and Chambered Compensator. Accurized Rounds is your best magazine choice. However, any perk that increases reload speed or mag size is strong.

There are no perks in the first column that stand out against the others. Subsistence is good, but shouldn’t be paired with a reload-based perk. Some other good choices include Rangefinder and Tunnel Vision.

Frenzy is the best damage-boosting perk in the second column. It provides a 20% damage buff and doesn’t require kills to activate. For a kill-based perk look for Multikill Clip or Adrenaline Junkie.

Combos

Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Farewell in Destiny 2:

  • Rangefinder + Frenzy – This has been my favorite perk combo so far. Frenzy activates with ease, and Rangefinder brings up your range as long as you aim down sights.
  • Tunnel Vision + Multikill Clip – Both of these perks activate after a reload, making them strong in rapid kill scenarios.

Verdict

Farewell feels great in PvE activities. However, it will be out outclassed in higher light level activities like Grandmaster Nightfalls and Raids. In PvP, it can be used as a follow-up weapon if you are sniping, due to its high base handling. Farewell drops from Override activities and Umbral Engrams.
