Forge’s Pledge pulse rifle review and best perks | Destiny 2

Forge’s Pledge is a new Iron Banner weapon added with Season of the Lost. It is an Adaptive Frame pulse rifle, firing at 390 RPM and dealing solar damage. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Forge’s Pledge in Destiny 2.

Perks and rolls

Range and stability are the key stats to focus on. For barrel perks look for Corkscrew Rifling, Arrowhead Brake, and Chambered Compensator. In terms of magazine perks, look for Accurized Rounds, Tactical Mag, or Appended Mag.

There are great options for neutral game in the first column. Surplus is a great perk that buffs plenty of stats just for having abilities up. If you are strictly looking to increase stability, then look for Zen Moment. Heating Up’s bonuses to accuracy and stability are great in PvP. Tunnel Vision is also a nice perk in PvP.

For damage dealing perks your options are Rampage or Multikill Clip. They both require 3 kills to get max stacks, so it really just comes down to playstyle. Outside of these two damaging perks, there aren’t many good options. Both Wellspring and Snapshot are usable but pretty niche.

Combos

Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Forge’s Pledge in Destiny 2:

  • Tunnel Vision + Multikill Clip
  • Heating Up + Rampage
  • Zen Moment + Snapshot
  • Surplus + Rampage

Verdict

Forge’s Pledge is a consistent feeling pulse rifle. Its smaller perk pool means it is easier to get a good roll than other current Adaptive Frames like the Third Axiom. With the Unstoppable Pulse Rifle mod being in rotation, Forge’s Pledge is worth picking up. Forge’s Pledge drops from Iron Banner bounties and packages.
