Genshin Impact Collei Build Path – Weapons, Artifacts, teams

Collei has the honor to be both one of the first Dendro characters in Genshin Impact, as well as the first Dendro archer! Here’s how to build Collei and make a name for future Dendro archers.

Here are some of the artifact sets that you can use with Collei:

  • Deepwood Memories – 4
  • Noblesse Oblige – 4
  • Tenacity of the Millelith – 4
  • Instructor – 4
  • Gilded Dreams – 4

Collei has quite a few different Artifact sets that she can make use of – luckily they’re all pretty straightforward sets of four. Collei is best suited as a support unit – which means ideally, you’re looking to build a good four-piece Deepwood Memories set here.

Here’s what each set does:

The two-piece bonus will net you a +15% bonus to Dendro DMG. The four-piece hits enemies with a -30% to Dendro resistance for eight seconds after being hit by an Elemental Skill/Burst.

Alternatively, you could grab a full set of Noblesse Oblige for a two-piece bonus that gives you a 20% damage bonus to Collei’s Elemental Burst. The four-piece set will net you a 20% bonus to the ATK of everyone in your party for 12 seconds after using an Elemental Burst.

Tenacity of the Millelith gives you +20% to your HP as its two-piece bonus. With the four-piece, you’re looking at +20% to the ATK of all nearby party members with an Elemental Skill hits an enemy. On top of that, their shields get a 30% boost for three seconds. This can trigger once every half-second and can even be triggered when the character with TotM isn’t in play.

Two pieces of Instructor will increase your Elemental Mastery by 80. The four-piece set gives you a party-wide Elemental Mastery increase of 120 for eight seconds upon triggering an Elemental Reaction. Keep in mind that Instructor is only a 3/4-Star artifact set – it’s still pretty effective though.

And finally, having Gilded Dreams grants you a +80 to your Elemental Mastery with a two-piece set. The four-piece set is a bit more complex though. Within eight seconds of triggering an Elemental Reaction, the equipped character will gain buffs according to the elements of the rest of the team. Any characters matching the element of the equipped one gain +14% to their attack, with a +50 to the Elemental Mastery of any character with a different element. The effect can trigger every eight seconds and the character equipped with Gilded Dreams can trigger the effect even when off the field.

Stats and Strings

Stat-wise you’re looking at:

  • Sands – Energy Recharge, Flat Attack, Elemental Mastery
  • Goblet – Dendro DMG, Elemental Mastery
  • Circlet – Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Elemental Mastery

Your sub-stats are going to consist of Energy Recharge, Crit Rate or Damage, and ATK% or Elemental Mastery

Here are some of the weapons you’ll be looking to equip Collei with:

  • Elegy for the End (5☆)
  • Polar Star (5☆)
  • Sacrificial Bow (4☆) – (Refinement four or higher)
  • Favonius Warbow (4☆)

There’s a pretty even split between 5-Star and 4-Star options, so chances are good you’ll be able to outfit her properly.

Who to team up with

The exciting part is getting to see all the new shiny new Dendro reactions! For a Hyperbloom team – you’re looking at running with Kokomi, Collei, Raiden Shogun, and Dendro Traveller. A Catalyze team consists of Tighnari, Yae Miko, Collei, and Zhongli – you could alternatively swap the first two for Keqing and Fischl as well. A solid Burning team sees you keeping Tighnari and tagging in Xiangling and Benny for your adventures.

That’s all you need from me! All that’s left is to get into the game and start building! But before you do anything, be sure to farm Collei first so she’s as effective a support as can be.
