Genshin Impact Sucrose Build path – Weapons, Artifacts, teams

"Anemo Test 6308!"

Sucrose can be a pretty effective unit with the right build and team, so let’s explore just how to get Sucrose built up for battle in Genshin Impact!

Here are some of the artifact sets that you can use with Sucrose:

Sucrose has a few different possible Artifact combinations – but you’ll want to get a full set of Viridescent Venerer to get the best boost to your Anemo damage. Two pieces of Viridescent Venerer will net you a nice 15% Anemo damage bonus, with four pieces giving you a 60% boost to Swirl damage. On top of that, it also decreases enemies’ Elemental Resistance to the swirled element by 40% for 10 seconds.

Two pieces of Instructor will increase your Elemental Mastery by 80. The four-piece set gives you a party-wide Elemental Mastery increase of 120 for eight seconds upon triggering an Elemental Reaction. If you wanted to trade out two Instructor pieces for two Wanderer’s Troupe artifacts instead, that would give you yet another 80-point increase to Elemental Mastery for a total of 160.

Instructor is only a 3/4-Star artifact set, so keep that in mind if you intend to have Sucrose be one of your endgame characters.

You can procure Viridescent Venerer artifacts from the Valley of Remembrance Domain exclusively. Wanderer’s Troupe is dropped by all Weekly Bosses (World Level three), all Normal Bosses (World Level five), Tier I Domain Reliquaries, and the Artifact Strongbox.

Instructor artifacts are obtained from quite a few different sources as well. You can get these artifacts from Elite Enemies, all Weekly Bosses, Tier II Domain Reliquaries, and these Normal Bosses:

  • Anemo/Electro/Geo/Hydro/Pyro Hypostasis
  • Pyro Regisvine
  • Thunder Manifestation
  • Golden Wolflord
  • Primo Geovishap (f**k this guy)
  • Ruin Serpent

Stat focuses

For your main stats, you’ll be aiming for Elemental Mastery across the board with your Sands, Goblet, and Circlet. As for your sub-stats, you’re striving for Elemental Mastery (go figure), Energy Recharge, ATK%, and Crit Damage/Rate.

Sucrose doesn’t need expensive weaponry to be effective – which is good for everyone. At least this way you’re saving from 5-Star rolling fatigue. Here are some of the Catalysts Sucrose can utilize:

  • Sacrificial Fragments
  • Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
  • Hakushin Ring
  • Magic Guide

All of these are 3/4-Star level weapons, so you either already have them, or you’ll be able to get them pretty easily!

Who she’s teaming up with

Anemo Characters are great in almost any team, and Sucrose is no exception. For a Vaporize team comp, you can set her up with Tartaglia, Xiangling, and Bennett or Hu Tao, Xingqiu, and Zhongli. Overload teams consist of Raiden Shogun as the main DPS with Kujou Sara and Bennett but you can also swap Kujou Sara with Yoimiya and use Yoimiya as the main DPS instead. If you’re more into freezing enemies, a good Permafrost team can be made built with Kamisato Ayaka, Mona, and Diona.

You’ve got all you need from me! It’s time for you to head out and start building your Sucrose! Be sure to farm her up properly first though in order to get her as strong as she can be!
