Genshin Impact Venti build path – Weapons, Artifacts, teams

Tornado simulator.

You’re playing Genshin Impact and you’ve just rolled Venti, you finished farming for all his Ascension and Talent materials, and now you need to know how to actually build and use him. Luckily for you, this is the Venti build guide… which I guess you knew already.

Here are the artifact sets that you can use with Venti:

  • Viridescent Venerer  – 4
  • Noblesse Oblige – 4

Compared to other characters like Yae Miko, Venti is a little easier to build as you don’t need to mix and match artifacts from different sets. A good four-piece Viridescent Venerer set is what you’ll be aiming for here. The two-piece set bonus nets you a nice little 15% bonus to your Anemo damage. The four-piece bonus is a 60% bonus to swirl damage. While that’s happening, you’re also simultaneously decreasing opponent Elemental Resistance to the currently Swirled element by 40%. That neat little effect lasts for 10 whole seconds. This allows you quite a bit of damage – especially if they’re caught in Venti’s Elemental Burst.

Alternatively, you could grab a full set of Noblesse Oblige for a two-piece bonus that gives you a  20% damage bonus to Venti’s Elemental Burst. The four-piece set will net you a 20% bonus to the ATK of everyone in your party for 12 seconds after using an Elemental Burst.

Viridescent Venerer can be obtained from the Valley of Remembrance Domain, while Noblesse Oblige is farmed in the Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Domain – try saying that five times fast.

He sing, he fling, he got bling

Now for the stats. The main stats and the corresponding artifact are as follows: Elemental Mastery and ATK% Sands, Elemental Mastery and Anemo Damage Goblet, and Elemental Mastery and Crit Rate or Damage. Are you seeing a theme here yet? For your sub-stats – you guessed it – Elemental Mastery. If you can’t swing Mastery, you can go for Energy Recharge, ATK%, Crit Rate and DMG, or Flat attack. Really though, you should try to get Elemental Mastery on everything.

For your weapon, you’re either hoping to get lucky with the wishes, or you’ve been building pity and are now just waiting for the right Weapon Banner. Your main option is Elegy for the End if you can swing it. If you can’t – which is fair, 5-Stars are hard – there are a bunch of 4-Star options to choose from. These include The Stringless, Favonius Warbow, Windblume Ode, Alley Flash or a Refinement five Raven Bow.

Who to team up with

In terms of possible comps, you’re looking at a bunch of different possible elemental combinations. To keep the enemies permanently frozen you could match Venti up with Ganyu, Mona, and Diona. For Vaporize, take Yoimiya, Xingqiu, and Bennett, or swap Yoimiya with Hu Tao and Bennett with Zhongli. You can also take Hu Tao, Raiden Shogun, and Bennett for Overload. Alternatively, swap Raiden with Ganyu and Benny with Zhongli (again).

When it comes to the Anemo characters, the possibilities are basically endless. That’s part of the reason I love Anemo characters so much if I’m honest. The other part is that I want to live my Airbender fantasies.

That’s basically it! All that’s left now is for you to actually go out and actually build the guy – good luck with your artifacts, and may the [REDACTED] bless you forevermore.
