For those of you trying to farm and build your Yae Miko in Genshin Impact and get her battle-ready, here is a short guide on what to build on her.
Ideally, you’ll want to use Kagura’s Verity or Skyward Atlas on her. Seeing as those are both 5-Star weapons though, you could instead go for something like a Solar Pearl, Widsith, or an Oathsworn Eye refined to level five.
A set of Emblem of Severed Fate is your go-to here. The two-piece set bonus nets you a 20% Energy Recharge buff, while the four-piece bonus gives you a boost to your Elemental Burst damage equal to 25% of your Energy Recharge – up to a maximum of 75% bonus damage.
Alternatively, you can take any two-piece +18% ATK set with two pieces of Thundering Fury or Emblem of Severed Fate. Thundering Fury in this case gives you +15% to your Electro damage vs EoSF’s +20% Energy Recharge. If neither of those work for you then Thundersoother is the way to go. This set gives you +40% Electro RES and +35% to damage on Electro-affected units as it’s two and four-piece set bonuses respectively.
The main stats for your Sands, Goblet, and Circlet should be Energy Recharge, Electro Damage, and Crit Rate and DMG respectively. For sub-stats you’re looking at Crit Rate/DMG, ATK%, Energy Recharge, and Elemental Mastery.
Your team comps
You can set Yae Miko up with Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Bennett – it’s fun, strong, and has the added bonus of being at least somewhat canonically accurate – except for Bennett, sorry Bennett. Alternatively, you can swap out Kujou Sara with Kazuha or Bennett with Jean if you have them. In these teams, Yae functions more like an off-field DPS, you’ll put her three pillars down and then swap to your main DPS while they shock anyone in the area.
That’s it! I’ll assume you’re already farming for Yae Miko in Genshin Impact, so be sure to check out my farming guide for her. have fun, do damage, and make the Shogun proud.
