How to farm for Arataki Itto in Genshin Impact

I am looking, respectfully.

Arataki Itto is the newest 5-star in Genshin Impact, and he’s strong, sexy, and kind of annoying to farm for. So I’ve taken time away from Mr. Oni-man to write an Itto farming guide to help people like me.

Here’s what Itto needs for level ascension:

To start off with the Prithiva Topaz, you can get these by beating up a few different bosses. These include the Geo Hypostasis, Primo Geovishap, Perpetual Mechanical Array, and Golden Wolford. Each run will cost 40 Resin and you’ll have to leave the area for three minutes for each boss to respawn, so I recommend doing them all in a circuit. You can also get them from Andrius and Azhdaha once a week – but that costs 60 resin, so don’t do it just for the Topaz.

At this point, I’m kind of just assuming that you already have a ton of Slime leftover from just… killing them over time. If that’s the case, you can just upgrade to what tier you need. It takes three of the previous tier material to make one of the next tier up, so you probably won’t run out anytime soon. If you don’t, well Slimes are everywhere so go nuts.

Onikabuto are usually found in high Electro concentration areas in Inazuma – you can use this interactive map to find their locations – as well as the locations of Slimes. For the Riftborn Regalia, you’re going to have to keep cracking Fragile Resin. The Regalia are only obtainable through the Golden Wolflord on Tsurumi Island in Inazuma. Personally, I hate the Golden Wolflord – I would recommend using your best shield and healer. Maybe bring a few friends along as well, just to be safe.

Genshin Itto Farming
I’ve got a bad feeling about this.

And here’s what you’ll be farming for Talent upgrades:

  • 9 Teachings of Elegance
    • 63 Guide to Elegance
    • 114 Philosophies of Elegance
  • 18 Slime Condensate
    • 66 Slime Secretions
    • 93 Slime Concentrate
  • 18 Ashen Hearts
  • 3 Crowns of Insight (if you choose to max level each talent.)

Again, I’m assuming you have a lot of Slime leftover. In total, you’ll need 36 Slime Condensate, 96 Slime Secretions, and 129 Slime Concentrate. The Light talent books can be obtained from the Violet Court domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays and can be upgraded like the previous materials.

Ashen Hearts are obtained by murking Signora once a week. If you have her other drops – Molten Moment or Hellfire Butterfly – you can use Dream Solvent to alchemically convert them to Ashen Hearts.

Last but not least are the Crowns of Insight. These are actually the hardest to obtain because you can only get them three ways. Crowns of Insight are only obtainable from events, the Frostbearing Tree in Dragonspine and the Sacred Sakura in Inazuma. So be sure to keep an eye out for events, and farm up whatever resource you need to get them out of the shop.

And that’s it for the Itto farming guide! Yes, rolling was a lot of work, and yes, farming will be even more work – but that’s just what we have to do for our boy. I will not confirm nor deny if I drained all possible Resin reservoirs for this. But I definitely did. Hopefully, you don’t have much trouble farming up for Itto – but in the end, it’ll definitely be worth it.
