Rosaria – nonconforming sister and object of affection for simps everywhere. You’ve rolled her, and now all that’s left is to farm for her. That’s where I come in – here’s how to farm for Rosaria in Genshin Impact.
Here is everything Rosaria will need for her level ascension:
- 1 Shivada Jade Sliver
- 9 Shivada Jade Fragment
- 9 Shivada Jade Chunks
- 6 Shivada Jade Gemstones
- 18 Recruit’s Insignias
- 30 Sergeant’s Insignias
- 36 Lieutenant’s Insignias
- 168 Valberries
- 46 Hoarfrost Cores
- 420k Mora (you know the joke already)
Boss runs and materials
There are quite a few ways to farm for Shivada Jade pieces. If you’re really looking to farm it all up as fast as possible, then prepare to shed some Fragile Resin and some tears. Six Normal Bosses drop Shivada Jade pieces: Coral Defenders, Cryo Hypostasis, Cryo Regisvine, Maguu Kenki, Perpetual Mechanical Array, and the stupid Primo Geovishap. You’ll also have to leave the area for three minutes in order for it to respawn – it gets a bit tiring, but that’s just the Genshin lifestyle.
Four Weekly Boss fights will drop you shards as well: Beneath the Dragon-Queller, Enter the Golden Palace, Narukami Island: Tenshukaku, and Wolf of the North Challenge. Each Normal Boss run will run you 40 Resin on redemption, with Weekly Bosses costing 60 Resin (30 Resin for the first three redemptions). You should be prepared to either use up your Fragile Resin or wait a really long time. You can also get some shards from the Parametric Transformer if you use the right materials.
In the spirit of efficiency, you can go between bosses so by the time you finish one, the other one will respawn. If you want, you can make a route between them, doing them over and over again in order. You can farm it up all naturally over time or you can use an alchemy table to upgrade the Jade to its next tier. It takes three of the previous tier material to upgrade to the next one – this goes for other materials with multiple tiers as well. Alternatively, you can use Dust of Azoth to convert any tier of a different gem into a Jade of the same tier.
Insignias, berries, and cores
The Insignias you’re after can be difficult to farm due to the amount of wanton murder. For these, you’ll need to track and take down Fatui Skirmishers, Cicin Mages, and Pyro Agents. Due to the Cicin Mages and Pyro Agents, you’d do well to bring the appropriate element with you when fighting them. You could always just brute force it though, it’s more fun that way. You can find these guys all over Teyvat and can track their exact locations using this Teyvat Interactive Map as well.
The Valberries are easy enough to gather, if not a little tedious considering the fact you need almost 200 of them. These berries are found in Mondstadt – particularly around the Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point. If you don’t particularly want to venture to a place with such an ominous and threatening name, you can buy them from Chloris! She can sell you five berries every three days for 1000 Mora a pop. If you’re feeling particularly agricultural, you can also plant Valberry Seeds in your Serinitea Pot’s gardening plots.
You’re going to have to keep cracking that Fragile Resin if you’re farming up all your Hoarfrost Cores at once. The cores are only obtainable through the Cryo Regisvine in Mondstadt. Bring along your best pyromaniacs and you should be fine though!
Unfortunately for you, Insignia farming doesn’t end there. You’ll need to keep farming for quite a while if you’re looking to level up her Talents as well. I could have warned you earlier, I apologize.
- 9 Teachings of Ballad
- 63 Guides to Ballad
- 114 Philosophies of Ballad
- 18 Recruit’s Insignias
- 66 Sergeant’s Insignias
- 93 Lieutenant’s Insignias
- 18 Shadows of the Warrior
- 3 Crowns of Insight (one to max-level each Talent if you’re going for that)
- 4,957,500 Mora – there was probably a better way to break this news to you, sorry.
On the plus side, you’ll need more Insignias anyway if you’re rolling for or already have Diluc, Tartaglia, or Ningguang! On the negative side, you’ll need to farm more Insignias regardless. This is the Genshin Impact way of life, it’s either farm or perish.
Anyway, your Insignia total amounts to 36 Recruit’s Insignias, 96 Sergeant’s Insignias, and 129 Lieutenant’s Insignias. I honestly made it sound worse than it was, but don’t get me wrong, it’s still pretty tedious. You may want to consider joining a friend or a stranger for this as well. May as well bring an ally along to speed things along, right?
The Ballad Talent books can be farmed in the Forsaken Rift Domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. These can be upgraded in the same way as all of the previously listed materials at a ratio of three to one. The Alchemist’s Crafting Bench is a great tool that you should all be taking advantage of!
Shadows and Crowns
There are two ways to get Shadows of the Warrior. The first way to get them is by doing the Weekly Boss fight – Enter the Golden House. The second way to get the Shadows is actually just by beating that weekly boss fight anyway – then converting them with Dream Solvent. Those are really the only ways to go about this, unfortunately. On the bright side, at least you can enjoy the sweet sounds and music of Genshin Impact – and your impending death – while fighting, right?
The Dream Solvent is really kind of your saving grace here. Ever since the debut of the Weekly Boss material conversion system, farming them has been a tad easier. That just goes to show you – never skip out on your weeklies. You never know what you’ll need and when you’ll need it. Unless you came here first, that is – then you definitely know what you need.
The last item you need is just a tad bit more on the scarce side of the resource pool. Crowns – as their context, purpose, and use cases usually entail – are precious and hard to come by. Crowns of Insight are currently limited to only two methods of obtainment – both of which take time, with only one being reliable. Both methods can be fairly slow in their own right, but one is more consistent than the other and is available at all times.
The main way you can get Crowns of Insight in Genshin Impact is through hitting certain level milestones with the Sacred Sakura in Inazuma and the Frostbearing Tree in Dragonspine. The only other way to get them is through certain limited-time in-game events. So be sure to keep up with the events in Genshin Impact. You don’t want to run dry of those when you really need one.
After this, your Rosaria will be leveled and ready for battle. Just be sure that you build her properly so that she doesn’t hit with the force of a pool noodle when you go into battle. It’s a bit of a sore moment when you start wailing on an enemy to only see triple digits pop up. In any case, good luck with your rolls, and may every 10-pull bring you luck, joy, and satisfaction.
