Iota Draconis is a new solar fusion rifle added with Season of the Lost. It is a High-Impact frame, meaning it deals higher damage at the cost of a longer charge time. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Iota Draconis in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
Barrel perks don’t make or break a fusion rifle, but looking for that little bit of extra range can help bring up your damage. Corkscrew Rifling and Fluted Barrel are some great choices. Liquid Coils is the go-to battery perk for the increased Impact. Projection Fuse and Particle Repeater are great alternatives.
Iota Draconis benefits from neutral game perks. Ensemble is great when you are playing activities where you are close to your team. Under Pressure will tighten the spread of the bolts as the magazine gets lower. If you have fast ability recharge, then Surplus is a great neutral game perk.
There are two solid damage-boosting perk choices in the second column. Kickstart is great, but the damage buff is short-lived. Frenzy takes a while to activate but it also boosts reload and handling. High-Impact Reserves is a great option but only activates as the magazine gets lower.
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Iota Draconis in Destiny 2:
- Ensemble + High-Impact Reserves
- Surplus + Frenzy
- Under Pressure + High-Impact Reserves
Iota Draconis struggles due to the recent fusion rifles changes. High Impact Frames fire even slower, which makes them super situational in both PvE and PvP. It is definitely worth keeping if you get a good roll. Iota Draconis drops from Umbral Engrams and Season of the Lost activities.
