Jurassic Green pulse rifle review and best perks | Destiny 2

Festival of the Lost has finally arrived in Destiny 2. Along with the new dinosaur-themed armor, we have also gotten a dinosaur-themed pulse rifle, Jurassic Green. Here are the best perks and rolls you should look for on Jurassic Green in Destiny 2.

Perks and rolls

As a Rapid-Fire pulse, Jurassic Green needs extra stability and range. The best barrel perks are Polygonal Rifling, Smallbore, and Corkscrew Rifling. For magazine perks look for Ricochet Rounds, Extended Mag, or Flared Magwell.

Rangefinder is a great perk choice bringing up Jurassic Green’s range. This works well in both PvE and PvP. Tunnel Vision, Killing Wind, and Heating Up are solid perks but require kills to activate. Subsistence can do well in PvE, but Jurassic Green’s low damage output makes it hard to chain kills.

There are three damage-boosting perks in the second column. Multikill Clip is best for PvP but is also super viable in PvE as well. Frenzy works best in PvE because it does take a while to activate. If you do get an Adrenaline Junkie roll, it may be worth holding onto as a change to the perk is coming soon. Wellspring is a great choice for ability regen, and Dragonfly pairs well with Dragonfly Spec.

Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Jurassic Green in Destiny 2:

  • Rangefinder + Multikill Clip – Best for PvP
  • Heating Up + Frenzy – Best for PvE
  • Tunnel Vision + Multikill Clip

While Jurassic Green has a cool dinosaur aesthetic, it has a hard time competing with other Rapid-Fire frames. Gridskipper and the Darkest Before completely outclass it, though dealing solar damage does mean it may work in certain situations. Jurassic Green can be obtained from Festival of the Lost activities.
