New Pokémon Snap Secret Side Path guide

The Secret Side Path is a new map from New Pokémon Snap, set within the Florio Park zone. It features 13 Pokémon, including two never seen before in the game. Here is everything you need to know about this new area.

How to access the Secret Side Path

The Secret Side Path is set within the Florio Park zone. Begin an exploration of the Park as usual, up until the lake appears on your right. Just before Bidoof’s path, turn your camera to the left and scan the tree with a hole at its base. The Neo-One will shrink and enter this small path through the tree, unlocking the Secret Side Path.

Secret Side Path alternate path

Snorlax finally made it to New Pokémon Snap! You can meet the sleepy Pokémon on the alternate path of the Secret Side Path.

After Dodrio scares away Pichu and Scorbunny, scan the grass to your left. A new path will appear. If you follow this alternate path, you will find Snorlax peacefully sleeping in a tree trunk. Of course, you can disturb its peace. Throw fluffruits into its mouth to wake Snorlax up.

Pokémon you can find in Secret Side Path

The Secret Side Path features 13 Pokémon. Two of them make their first appearance in New Pokémon Snap: Snorlax and Shroomish. Both Pokémon are fairly easy to find. Snorlax is found sleeping in his den, and Shroomish is hanging around mushrooms.

The Secret Side Path is home to the following Pokémon:

  • Wurmple
  • Pichu
  • Scorbunny
  • Dodrio
  • Comfey
  • Shroomish
  • Vivillon
  • Bidoof
  • Pidgeot
  • Taillow
  • Emolga
  • Torterra
  • Snorlax

The Secret Side Path is an interesting level, as you get to see Pokémon from a different angle. As the Neo-One shrinks, all Pokémon seem bigger, even scarier in some cases. The latest DLC of New Pokémon Snap introduced two other maps filled with brand new Pokémon: Barren Badlands and Mightywide River.
