Reed’s Regret linear fusion rifle review and best perks | Destiny 2

Reed’s Regret is the new Trials weapon for Season of the Lost. This Stasis linear fusion rifle can roll some of the best perk combos in the game. Here are the perks you should look for on Reed’s Regret in Destiny 2.

Perks and rolls

Barrel perks should focus on bringing up the range, as well as stability and recoil. Corkscrew Rifling is the top pick, closely followed by Arrowhead Brake and Hammer-Forged Rifling

Triple Tap is a perfect perk for liner fusions because you will always be shooting for the crit spot on enemies. Clown Cartridge overflows the magazine, but the amount of extra bullets is random each time. Quickdraw and Surplus are also decent perks to run.

You have two strong damage perks to choose from for boss damage. Vorpal Weapon gives a flat 15% damage buff against minibosses and bosses. Firing Line is a close contender, but is bugged in the current sandbox and does not provide the correct damage buff. Headstone is also found in this column, but this perk is better suited for Primary weapons.

Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Reed’s Regret in Destiny 2:

  • Triple Tap + Vorpal Weapon
  • Triple Tap + Firing Line
  • Clown Cartridge + Vorpal Weapon

Reed’s Regret is currently competing for some of the highest boss damage output in the game. While Firing Line is currently bugged, once fixed it will have the ability to deal similar damage to Vorpal Weapon under the right circumstances. Reed’s Regret is only obtainable through Trials of Osiris, though the recent changes to the playlist make it easier to farm for the desired rolls.
