Riiswalker is a new kinetic shotgun in Destiny 2. Dropping from Iron Banner, it has a base range of 50 and fires at 80 RPM. But how does this shotgun hold up in activities? Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Riiswalker in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
Range and handling are the stats you want to buff out on shotguns. Rifled Barrel and Smallbore are the two best barrel perks you can have. Some great magazine perk options are Accurized Rounds, Assault Mag, and Light Mag.
Although Quickdraw was nerfed, it is still a solid perk choice for increasing ready speed. Surplus is great, especially when you have high ability regeneration. If you want to bypass reloading, then Slideways can partially reload your magazine.
If you plan on running Riiswalker in PvP, then look for Iron Reach. It brings the range up and makes it more consistent. For a PvE, look for either Vorpal Weapon or Swashbuckler to increase your damage output. Killing Wind is also a solid perk option.
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Riiswalker in Destiny 2:
- Quickdraw + Iron Reach – This shotgun is one of the few weapons that can run Iron Reach. Stability is not as important on shotguns, meaning Iron Reach doesn’t put you at a disadvantage.
- Surplus + Vorpal Weapon – A solid perk combo for boss damage in PvE.
For a Lightweight Frame, Riiswalker has amazing range and kill potential in PvP. It is still outclassed by Felwinter’s Lie, but it can go toe to toe with most other legendary shotguns. Riiswalker drops from Iron Banner matches and bounties.
