Sojourner’s Tale is a slug shotgun that was added in Season of the Splicer. Firing at 65 RPM, it is a Precision Frame that deals solar damage. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Sojourner’s Tale in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
On this shotgun you want to maximize your range and handling stats. The best barrel perks are Hammer-Forged Rifling, Arrowhead Brake, and Corkscrew Rifling. For magazine perks look for Assault Mag, Light Mag, or Accurized Rounds.
The first column is full of great perks. Quickdraw and Moving Target are excellent perks for PvP. Rapid Hit and Threat Detector are your go-to options for reload perks. Auto-Loading Holster is great for encounters where you continuously swap weapons.
Frenzy, Surrounded and Adrenaline Junky are the available damage-boosting perks. Frenzy is by far the strongest, while Surrounded gets some use in certain situations. Opening Shot is an amazing perk in PvP for increasing range and accuracy. Dragonfly is present, but it is a super niche perk choice.
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Sojourner’s Tale in Destiny 2:
- Quickdraw + Opening Shot
- Auto-Loading Holster + Frenzy
- Threat Detector + Surrounded
Sojourner’s Tale is a well-rounded shotgun that puts out solid damage. Despite the shotgun hot-swap nerf, slug shotguns are still a solid choice for certain encounters. The fact that you can roll Sojourner’s Tale with Auto-Loading Holster and various damage perks makes it worth picking up in Destiny 2 this season.
Sojourner’s Tale drops from Override activities and Umbral Engrams.
