Ticuu’s Divination exotic bow review and best uses | Destiny 2

Three points, pushed through forever.

Ticuu’s Divination is one of the new exotics in Destiny 2 from Season of the Chosen. It is currently a season pass reward and its catalyst can be obtained through an questline with Banshee-44. Here is everything you should know about the exotic bow Ticuu’s Divination in Destiny 2.

The bow

Ticuu’s Divination is a 612 draw time bow and has recoil that tends to bounce to the right. It resides in the energy slot and deals solar damage. The base perks included are Tactile String and Straight Fletching.

The intrinsic perk on Ticuu’s Divination is Sacred Flame. When hipfiring, three tracking arrows are launched that mark targets. Targets marked by these arrows explode upon death or when hit by another Sacred Flame explosion.

The second trait is Causality Arrows, which causes shots fired while aiming down sights to detonate Sacred Flame marks.

The catalyst for Ticuu’s Divination adds a new perk to the bow. Causality Quiver makes perfectly drawn arrows that detonate Sacred Flames increase arrow damage. Striking targets unaffected by Sacred Flame instead refreshes Causality Arrows’ duration. It can also generate Orbs of Power on multikills.

How to use Ticuu’s Divination

Ticuu’s Divination has a unique playstyle that is unlike other guns and bows in Destiny 2. You first want to stack Sacred Flames on your enemies by hipfiring the bow. Then once your enemy has 3 arrows attached to them, aim down sights to detonate the arrows. Aim for a perfect draw to further increase the damage dealt.

In PvP Ticuu’s Divination is a fun bow to use. Its aggressive tracking makes it easy to stack up Sacred Flames. However, it can be difficult to land a follow up shot to detonate those stacks. A great way to mitigate this is to play Crucible with a buddy or two who are also running Ticuu’s Divination. This is great for getting assists and kills with minimal effort.

Underwhelming is one word to describe Ticuu’s Divination in PvE activities. Aside from clearing rank and file enemies with relative ease and lots of explosions, it lacks the ability to deal meaningful damage against enemies with more health. This may possibly change once bows receive an overall buff.
