Tranquility is the Moon sniper in Destiny 2. It is an Adaptive Frame, fires at 90 RPM and deals kinetic damage. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Tranquility in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
Handling and stability are the key stats you want to focus on. Anything that helps with recoil is also a plus. Look for Corkscrew Rifling, Arrowhead Brake or Fluted Barrel. Tactical Mag, Appended Mag, and Accurized Rounds are the best magazine perks.
Surplus is by far the best perk in the first column. Feeding Frenzy becomes a good choice if you plan on clearing low-tier enemies for the added reload speed. If you want a solid perk for PvP, Under Pressure is the way to go.
Frenzy is the only damage perk on Tranquility at the moment. While it provides a sizable buff, it requires you to be in combat for an extended period. Thresh provides additional super regen, but is a perk better suited for primary weapons. Eye of the Storm and Elemental Capacitor are decent perks for PvP activities.
Combos
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Tranquility in Destiny 2:
- Under Pressure + Elemental Capacitor
- Surplus + Frenzy
- Feeding Frenzy + Thresh
Verdict
The new perks on Tranquility do not make it usable in PvP activities. Other sniper rifles – like Adored and Uzume RR4 – are still stronger choices. It also lacks strong perks to warrant use in PvE. Without Firing Line or High-Impact Reserves, it can be hard to dish out damage against majors and bosses.
Tranquility drops from the Lectern of Enchantment on the Moon.
