Vision of Confluence is another returning weapon in Destiny 2. It is a solar Precision Frame scout rifle that fires at 180 RPM. Here are the perks and rolls you should look for on Vision of Confluence in Destiny 2.
Perks and rolls
Recoil and stability are key perks when it comes to precision weapons like scout rifles. The barrel perks to look for are Arrowhead Brake, Chambered Compensator, and Corkscrew Rifling. Ricochet Rounds, High-Caliber Rounds, and Armor-Piercing Rounds are the best magazine perks.
In the first column Rewind Rounds is present, which is a new perk in Destiny 2. It works well as long as you can land the final shot of the mag. Surplus is strong for the stat buffs, but it requires abilities to be up. Vision of Confluence is one of the few Destiny 2 weapons that has Wellspring in the first column, allowing it to be combined with a damage perk.
Frenzy and Kill Clip are your two damage perk options. If you want some solar AOE damage, look for Firefly. Full Auto Trigger is great, but doesn’t provide much utility. The two weakest perks here are Thresh and Disruption Break.
Combos
Here are the perk combinations and god rolls you should look for on Vision of Confluence in Destiny 2:
- Rewind Rounds + Firefly
- Tunnel Vision + Kill Clip
- Wellspring + Frenzy
- Zen Moment + Full Auto Trigger
Verdict
Vision of Confluence was one of my favorite weapons in Year 1 of Destiny. It holds up just as well in Destiny 2 and is a fun gun to play with. Although scout rifles are in a weird spot in the meta, it is still worth keeping if you find a good roll. Vision of Confluence only drops from the Vault of Glass raid.
