Chaos reigns in the city of Prague as vampires fight their secret war. The endless battles in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt and fueled by a near unlimited and strangely unguarded supply of loot scattered around the city streets. Naturally, not all items are created equal, which is why in this guide we will tell you what items to look for and how to get the best high-tier loot in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt.
Types of loot
Loot is divided into several categories in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. Players run through the streets of Prague, collecting a mix of guns, ammo, healing items, and armor. Stashes of items are littered throughout and can be easily found in auras of blue or gold hue; using your Heightened Senses will reveal these auras from further away, and through walls.
Blue auras seen scattered around the map are randomized loot piles that almost always have weapons of the green and blue variety, though sometimes they also spawn purple tier weapons. Similarly, gold aura crates scattered around Prague contain random purple or orange quality weapons, with orange being the strongest.
High-tier loot areas
Before hopping in a match in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt, you can see the high-tier loot areas marked on the map: that’s where you find those gold aura crates. As mentioned above, these crates have a higher likelihood of having purple or orange weapons. Be careful when you go for the crates in the early game, as chances are high that you will encounter other players who are also looking for that competitive edge.
The Entity spawn points are marked on the map as red sword hilt crosses, and provide access to high-tier loot if you don’t mind fighting for it. Killing Entity soldiers is the only way to get the Burst Rifle, and their spawn points usually also have a gold crate lying around.
Finally, a number of gold crates always spawn in specific fixed parts of Prague. For example, you can always find one of those crates at the Art Gallery, and one at each of the two abandoned construction sites.
Unique buildings and vehicles
There are unique buildings and vehicles scattered around the map of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. These buildings can be identified by their larger blue auras when using the Heightened Senses scan or by simply looking at the map. Their locations are fixed and don’t change from match to match.
Each building specializes in different types of loot, with a good chance of high-tier weapons of the relevant type spawning there. These buildings have alarm systems, so be careful if other players are around you as it may tip them off to your location. For their part, parked vehicles offer mostly mid-tier loot, but are safer to look since they won’t trigger any alarm systems.

Where to find the Minigun
Miniguns are among the rarest loot in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. Players can only find these in Entity Strongboxes, and even then, there’s a low likelihood that the weapon will appear. Be careful when hunting for a Minigun as the noise you make fighting the Entity may attract other players. Use melee weapons, and leave the scene as soon as you’re finished looting.
