Alright my fellow gamers, it’s time for another “where to get” Cyberpunk 2077 article and this time it is all about cyberware! As you all (probably) already know, cyberware is technology that is implanted into your character, and it ultimately makes V stronger. Facing Militech agents, Cyberpsychos and other tough enemies is hard, so having a fully upgraded body comes in handy. That said, I will be showing you where and how to get the best cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077, both free and paid.
Raven Microcyber MK.4 – $35.000
The Raven Microcyber MK.4 is a legendary operating system cyberware, which will provide the player with 10 Base RAM (which is an excellent upgrade from the one you get at the start of Cyberpunk 2077), 8 Buffer Size, and 6 mod slots – meaning you’ll be able to modify it.
And if those benefits weren’t enough to convince you, then know that using this cyberware increases the time it takes for a netrunner to hack you by 100%. Plus, the RAM recovery rate is increased by 6 units per 60 seconds, which is pretty damn cool.
In order to get this cyberware, you will need to head over to the Watson District and find a Ripperdoc in the middle of a Tyger Claw-controlled market. You should be able to get to the Ripperdoc easily, provided you sheathe your weapon and don’t linger close to any Tyger Claw member. The Ripperdoc will have a few cyberware items to sell, you simply need to choose the Raven Microcyber MK.4, and pay 35k.
- Zetatech Berserk MK.5 – $43.750
If you are carrying a little extra money, you can also get the Zetatech Berserk MK.5 at the same Ripperdoc for a little over 43k. This Zetatech cyberware allows you to activate Berserker mode, which increases your strength and resilience.
The Berserker mode allows you to jump high heights, increases overall damage and armor rating, and even restores 5% of your max health when you defeat enemies. This cyberware is a great asset for those taking a more violent approach to Cyberpunk 2077. As for myself, I like to do things the stealthy way and with fewer casualties, so I didn’t feel the need to buy it.
- Subdermal Armor – $14.000
Another cyberware you should get at this Ripperdoc is the Subdermal armor for your Integumentary system. The Subdermal armor increases your armor rating by 200, meaning you’ll be a lot harder to beat. At 14k, it’s an easy buy.
Mantis Blades – FREE
The Mantis Blades were one of my favorite finds in Cyberpunk 2077. I could help but talk about them in the article I wrote on free legendary items in Cyberpunk 2077.
Simply put, the Mantis Blades will turn you into a living weapon, and you can just wreak havoc wherever you go, as the Blades deal 191-234 damage, plus 103-126 physical damage, plus a 20% bleeding chance. And it is a very fast weapon!
This legendary Cyberpunk 2077 item can be found close to the Night City Center for Behavioral Health. Once you spot the Behavioral center, just head down the path to the left of the building into yellow doors. I advise you to crouch for this part, as there is a tough Cyberpsycho inside. On the right, by a wall, you will find a case and a dead body. On the case, you’ll find the Mantis Blade. All you have to do afterwards is head over to a Ripperdoc and install them.
Second Heart – $42.000
So, if you are an unlucky guy or gal who happens to die often in Cyberpunk 2077, then you might want to consider buying this piece of cyberware. The Second Heart is a legendary cyberware that, simply put, gives you a second life. When your health drops to zero, a.k.a. you die, you’ll get a 100% health restoration. Hurray immortals!
The only two prerequisites to this cyberware are that you will need 16 Body in order to be able to use it, and that you need 49 street cred.
To get the Second Heart, you have to find a Ripperdoc on the West side of Heywood district and buy it for 42k.
- Syn-lungs – $7.000
At the same Ripperdoc in Heywood, you can get the Syn-lungs which increase Stamina Regen by 25%. It is a pretty cool feature, especially for melee weapon users.
Monowire – FREE
Last on my list of the best cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077 is the Monowire. The Monowire is a legendary cyberware that allows you to roleplay as Indiana Jones… Well, not really, but the monowire can be used as a whip against your enemies, so it’s pretty close. And if you’re looking for an especially bloody way to kill your enemies, then know that most times, using the whip will maim your target.
To find the Monowire, you’ll have to go to the Watson District and find the Pharmaceuticals store. Face that store and head over to the left. You’ll find a Stephenson Technologies garage, and it should be open.
Head inside and you’ll find the Monowire inside a case. Head on over to your favorite Ripperdoc and install it. Do keep in mind that you can either have the Mantis Blades or Monowire installed – they can’t be installed together.
