The League of Legends Spirit Blossom event finally gave fans a dating sim

Y'all too thirsty

You may have heard about the new Spirit Blossom event for League of Legends, and you may or may not be surprised to know that it’s really just a front for a League dating sim.

Indeed, all your favorite characters are available to date – amongst other things – for a limited time. The Spirit Blossom event runs from July 22 to Aug. 24 and during this time you can take advantage of the Spirit Bonds questlines. Essentially, you talk to each character and work to gain favor with them. The more favor, the more rewards, and the higher rank you get – going up to S+. As you progress, you gain access to new episodes in which your story with the spirit deepens.

There are many champions to choose from for the quests, and you can pick and choose your bonds or just pursue them all for the ultimate dating experience. Although to be honest, most people will just pick Yasuo, Thresh or Ahri.

I mean, he do be looking kinda fine

The Spirit Blossom event brings with it a set of gorgeous Spirit Blossom skins, as well as two new champions. The new Jungle champion is Lillia, who we uh, won’t talk about, and the second is Yone. You may know Yone as Yasuo’s meant-to-be-dead brother.

Well, he’s coming soon and he’s really every bit as edgy as you can imagine. He’s also decently similar to Yasuo, much like how Senna’s abilities bear similarity to Lucian’s. He’s got swords, he’s got dashes, and best of all – he’s got edgy voice lines. I mean, what more do you need?

You gotta be kidding me

Oh yeah, don’t forget about the tons of new emotes, ward skins, and border sets – because money. Nexus Blitz is also getting a reskin for the event. Now you can talk a leisurely walk through a serene forest  – while beating the ever living s**t out of anyone who stands in your way.

Why can’t I just get a League of Legends walking simulator so I can just chill?
