Genshin Impact has some many attractive, simp-worthy characters – we all know that by now. We all have different preferences and tastes, and miHoYo is keen to deliver for as many of us as possible. I’ve scoured the internet, visited every Genshin character subreddit, and even looked upon the filthy smut of the Genshin community – all in a bid to list the most simpable characters in Genshin Impact. You may not have asked, but I answered regardless. Buckle up.
Hu Tao
Either you’re really into girls with spooky death-related jobs, you like short goofball-weirdos, or you’re just trying to get closer to Zhongli with extra steps. In any case, the community rides hard for Hu Tao. I really don’t want to know the reason, but I saw this coming, and I’m not surprised – just curious.
Raiden Shogun
Ever since they showed her pulling a sword out of her cleavage I knew you simps would be just lining up for a chance to be beaten up by the Raiden Shogun. She’s an exceptionally powerful woman who threatened to straight-up annihilate you, and instead of running away… you developed a crush on her. Now, do I blame you? No. But we may need to unpack that later.
Keqing
I don’t personally understand this one, but it seems to stem from a combination of memes, die-hards, and also “cute anime girl”. Good for you Keqing simps, I respect the grind.
Eula
Cryo Waifu with a big sword and an initially somewhat-cold attitude? That’s a good recipe to have folks both lining up for her and asking her to step on them. Cool character though.
Ganyu
I almost feel cheap putting Ganyu in this list because she’s kind of like the poster child for Genshin Impact simpery. She’s adorable, she’s powerful, she’s wholesome and she has blue hair. Also, she wears a cowbell around her neck… I don’t know exactly how that plays into it – but that seems to be a thing for a lot of people.
Venti
Admittedly, this one took me by surprise. I’m mostly just curious about Venti’s ranking priority on this list. But hey, good on you Genshin community. Well, kind of. Let’s not look too far into it yeah?
Yae Miko
We can’t talk about Raiden Shogun without talking about Yae Miko. Her powers are great, her character is great. She has pink hair, flowy robes, and that effortlessly elegant attack chain. Also, she’s a fox, and if history has taught us anything it’s that fox-girls are hot.
Jean
The Acting Grandmaster. She’s beauty, grace, and power all rolled into one. She also hasn’t slept properly in months… someone please help her. I believe Jean deserves more attention – even if she would disagree. Don’t even come at me. I have C3 Jean, I’m ahead of the curve.
Albedo
*Spoiler* While we’re talking about hot, empowered Monstadt citizens, we’re going to talk about Albedo. One phrase comes to mind. “If chalk, why cute?” Seriously – I realize he was literally formed from it but how do you get made attractive. You also get Geo powers on top of that – how lucky can you be? “If chalk, why cute?” Indeed.
Lisa
I guess I can’t really blame you for this one. Lisa was kind of made to be the flirty older-woman type. Nobody can really fault you for simping over Lisa – I’m just sorry that nobody plays her more.
Rosaria
Spoilers Dude. Come on. She’s literally the stereotypical hot-for-the-sake-of-being-hot character except now she’s goth, tall, and works for the church while also wielding a spear and looking like a Satanist. Also, there’s a theory she might be a vampire… Of course, there were going to be Rosaria simps – none of us should be surprised.
Tartaglia
Tartaglia is tall, mysterious, and handsome. I mean, sure, he also beats people up for the hell of it and is probably either about to commit a war crime… or already has. Once you get past the murderous urge and the issue of his allegiances though, I could probably see it working out.
Kokomi
Depending on how you made it out with the Inazuma storyline, I can imagine there would be a divide between Kokomi simps and Raiden Simps. I understand the simping over Kokomi, I get it. She’s cute, she’s supportive, and she’s a leader. Also, her whole color scheme and theme are just adorable.
Sucrose
I don’t really simp for Sucrose – she’s almost un-simpable in the best way really. I just think she’s too wholesome and adorable to be simped over at all – and judging by the numbers, at least some people would agree.
Mona
She’s wearing tights – and we all know how riled up you people can get over tights. I know damn well some of you want to live out the sugar-daddy fantasy with her – if she wants your money she’ll ask for it damn you.
Cope harder
I’ve been meaning to ask, does element play a part in how much you simp for a character? Like would you choose one character over another if it was ice vs fire, for instance? I just imagine someone saying “yeah, I’m just into Electros”, which is… strange.
If you find yourself saying something like “Where is Diona? Oh but Klee isn’t in here,” and so on – leave.
