Killers and Survivors alike can join the festivities which run from Oct. 11 – Nov. 3 and kick off with the release of highly anticipated store Collections. Oct. 12 sees the release of Tome: MALEVOLENCE with the actual in-game Halloween event going live on Oct.13! It would have been extra spooky if this October had a Friday the 13th, but c’est la vie.
The Haunted by Daylight event, will give players a selection of horrifying cosmetics to unlock, as well as the Realm’s new look and new challenges. Dead by Daylight’s lobby & loading screens are dressing up with haunting pumpkins and spooky decor leading to new gameplay.
Over this Halloween event, players will have new objectives, requiring them to gather and steal “Void Energy”. Last but not least, players will have a chance for Daily Login Rewards throughout the course of the event – all accessible from Oct. 13 – Nov. 3.
Dead by Daylight is also hosting a Free Weekend from Oct. 27 – Nov. 1, so new players can experience the horror firsthand. It’s like you’re own personalized horror movie really, take that as you may.
Tome and Treat(s)!
On Oct. 12, a new Rift opens, and with it will come memories for the Killer Ghost Face, and the mystical Mikaela Reid. Players will get the chance to learn more about the mind behind the mask and uncover what keeps the horror aficionado up at night with the thirteenth Tome: MALEVOLENCE. With MALEVOLENCE comes new memories to uncover, as well as new surprises and cosmetics to obtain through the Rift.
Tons of new treats and outfits are coming to the Dead by Daylight store as well and players are invited to dress up their favorite trial-goers in their best costumes. The Hallowed Blight Collection is meant for just that and should allow you to procure these limited-time outfits. These outfits and other goodies will be available throughout the event from the store. There will be outfits for many characters, from Dwight to Wesker.
The Haunted by Daylight event is on now through to Nov. 3 so be sure to hop into the Entity’s Realm and get ready for fun and frights…mostly frights though.
