Dead by Daylight ventures into comics and (kind of) revisits Silent Hill

The Entity is expanding its horizons

The Dead by Daylight team is joining up with Titan Comics to produce a series of comic books dedicated to expanding on the DbD lore – starting with The Legion!

The first Dead by Daylight comic book launches in March 2023 and will feature the four killers known collectively as ‘The Legion’. Comprised of four troubled teenagers, this killer quartet includes Frank the dropout, small-town Julie, the jokester Joey, and the timid Susie. This initial story explores the relationship between them as they explore both the darkness of the world and the evil within themselves.

“Comic books hold a special place in my heart as with many people on the team. What an awesome time for Dead by Daylight, appearing in this format for the first time. The Legion is quite an interesting set of characters. They are great to dig into since they embody the very universal themes of teen angst, rage and revenge.” says Mathieu Côté, Behaviour’s Head of Partnerships.

Titan Comics has published stories for other franchises in the past. Titles like Bloodborne, Life is Strange and Horizon Zero Dawn have gotten the comic book treatment with Titan Comics before – to much acclaim. It’ll be exciting to see what tales will emerge from the fog (and the printing press).

Cheryl and Feng Min are dressing up

In other Dead by Daylight news – the Silent Hill Collection is getting two new outfits! Cheryl Mason is revisiting her Silent Hill 3 days and getting her very own Princess Heart outfit. Feng Min, being the avid gamer she is, is following suit and creating her own homemade Princess Heart Cosplay!

Available for 1080 Auric Cells, Cheryl’s Outfit includes the Princess Earmuffs, and the Princess Top and Boots. Feng Min’s Outfit costs 1080 Auric Cells as well and includes the DIY and homemade variations of Cheryl’s outfit.  These new cosmetics also mark the fourth expansion to Dead by Daylight’s Silent Hill Collection as part of a larger collaboration with Konami.

That’s all for now! Be sure to keep an eye out for the Dead by Daylight comic coming in early 2023, and stay tuned to SQUAD for more DbD news!
