BDS Academy and Vitality Bee enter top 4 in LFL 2022 playoffs

The first round of the 2022 LFL – or Ligue Française de League of Legends for the uninitiated – is now behind us. BDS Academy (BDSA) and Vitality Bee qualified for the semi-finals by taking down GamersOrigin (GO) and Misfits Premier.

The first best-of-five series of the season saw BDS Academy vanquish GamersOrigin 3-1 to advance to the next round in the playoff. Despite the end result, it was GamersOrigin who drew first blood by winning the first game. GO was able to overcome the first three dragons going to their opponents before the 20 minutes mark.

This temporary setback did not discourage the BDS Academy squad who came back to win the next three games to punch their tickets for the final four.

In the other series for this week, Vitality Bee defeated Misfits Premier 3-0. With these victories, Vitality has now won every one of their games against Misfits in the first half of the LFL season.

European Masters

With their triumph, both Vitality Bee and BDS Academy will now represent the LFL in the European Masters Tournament. They will now face the best teams from other European leagues. The LFL will be represented by Vitality, BDSA, LDLC OL, and defending champion Karmince Corp (Kcorp).

Kcorp and LDLC OL will start their playoff journey next week when they face off against each other. A direct ticket to the final will be at stake between these two top teams. Meanwhile, Vitality Bee and BDS Academy will have to cross paths to determine who will move on to the next round to face off against the loser of Kcorp and LDLC OL.
