Microsoft Flight Simulator’s World Update XI brings pilots to the Great White North

Don't forget your snowpants!

As of today the burgeoning pilots of Microsoft Flight Simulator will be able to visit the second-largest country in the world – Canada!

Microsoft Flight Simulator’s World Update XI now offers poutine-eaters and non-poutine-eaters alike a chance to visit the Hockey Capital of the world! It will be like you’re really there – except you’ll be flying a plane. Here’s what the upcoming World Update XI (11) will include:

  • Five brand new handcrafted airports including:
    • Castlegar / West Kootenay Regional Airport (CYCG) in British Columbia
    • Victoria International Airport
    • Vancouver Island

This update also comes with nine exciting new missions:

  • Three bush trips – Vancouver Island, Newfoundland, and the famous Canadian Rockies
  • Three landing challenges – Castlegar, Barkerville, and Calgary
  • Three discovery flights – Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto

This new update will come free to all owners of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Our Canadian SQUAD members invite you to come and see our beautiful country – from coast to coast and from urban sprawl to towering glaciers.

Who knows? Maybe a virtual trip to Canada will be just what you need to convince you to take a real trip to Canada.
