As our Canadian readers probably know by now, Northern Arena and TELUS have recently announced the TELUS Esports Series Rocket League Championship season. The season will take place over the course of six weeks and registration has already opened.
As of May 17, players have been able to register their accounts for the Rocket League Championship season. Northern Arena and TELUS encourage players of all skill levels to sign up and test their mettle once the season officially begins on June 12.
To be eligible to compete, players must be 15 years of age or older as of June 12. Players must also be Canadian citizens or residents. Plus, all players must be able to supply their own equipment as well as have access to a network connection. More information can be found in the tournament rules breakdown.
Registration will remain open until June 7. Between June 7 and June 11, all registered players must fill their team rosters and sign up for either the Competitive or Casual division. Once registered, players should join the TELUS Esports Series Discord to chat with the Rocket League community ahead of the tournament as well as receive periodic updates.
The TELUS Esports Series Rocket League season will run until July 23. Afterwards, the finals will be held between July 31 and Aug. 1, where qualifying teams will compete for their share of the $50,000 prize pool.
